Please take a minute to vote for one of our 11th Grade Ceramics students making the best of things by creating her own salt clay at home and sculpting this adorable little face:
https://www.artsonia.com/museum/aotw/vote.asp?group=3 Here is her artist statement: "I used salt clay to make this. This was a little different from clay because it was a little harder to work with in my opinion. I noticed that it was harder to carve the face out as well out of dough. The pros were I had good brushes to paint with and the cons were my paint selections were limited. I added cool triangles around my face and used puffy paints to add more shapes like polka dots." Please vote everyday on every device from now until Saturday, and THANK YOU for your support!
